LOS ANGELES -- Plaintiffs in a California benzene lawsuit have moved for a preferential trial setting, saying that the decedent's daughter is a minor plaintiff in the case with a substantial interest in its outcome. Marsolais, et al. v. Does 1 through 1,000 inclusive, No. BC332581 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
Plaintiffs say in the Dec. 26 motion that because the decedent's minor daughter has a substantial interest in the case as a whole, the case must be set for trial in no more than 120 days.
