ATLANTA -- Defendants in a Georgia benzene lawsuit have asked the court to enter a judgment on the pleadings in a case brought by an Alabama resident, pointing to a recent decision in which Alabama's Supreme Court refused to change the starting point of the state's two-year statute of limitations. Griffin v. Georgia-Pacific, et al., No. 06EV00291 (Ga. State Ct., Fulton Cty.).
