LOS ANGELES -- A benzene plaintiff has petitioned the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County to approve a settlement so that it would be applicable to a minor child who claims her father was exposed to benzene while working for the Clorox Co. Charles, et al. v. Gans Ink & Supply Co., et al., No. BC326572 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The April 28 petition states that the minor's 'father died as a result of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) caused by exposure to defendants' toxic chemical products.'
