JACKSON, Miss. -- Radiator Specialty Co. has moved for an extension to respond to benzene plaintiffs' motion to remand, claiming an extension is necessary in order to conduct remand-related depositions. Bynum, et al. v. First Chemical Corp., et al.; No. 05-22WSU; Fowler, et al. v. First Chemical Co., et al., No. 05-16STRO (S.D. Miss.).

In motions filed Feb. 25 in two benzene lawsuits recently removed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, Radiator Specialty requests a May 25 deadline to respond to the plaintiffs' motions for remand.
