Baby Food Plaintiff Partially Supports MDL Petition, Says Cases Belong in Southern District of Florida

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– A plaintiff with claims pending against manufacturers of Baby Food products that allegedly contain high levels of heavy metals has filed a brief supporting recent efforts to create a multidistrict litigation docket for the growing number of claims, but has departed from the petitioner on where that coordinated docket should be established.

In the April 6 brief filed with the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, plaintiffs Andrea Kelly and Cole Millican proffered that the claims be sent for coordinated proceedings before Judge Anuraag Singhal in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
