OMAHA, Neb. –– Toxic exposure claims asserted against Union Pacific Railroad Company will be permitted to proceed, a Nebraska federal court has ruled, concluding that the plaintiffs’ experts’ testimony “will assist the trier of fact in determination the Railroad’s potential liability in light of the requisite causation standard.”

In the Oct. 22 order, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska found that the experts’ testimony is “relevant and reliable.”
