PHILADELPHIA –– Another benzene defendant with claims pending in Pennsylvania state court has moved to reconsider earlier preliminary objections raised on personal jurisdiction grounds, saying recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions constitute an intervening change of law.

In the Sept. 14 motion to reconsider, Radiator Specialty asked the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County to sustain its preliminary objection on grounds that the court did not have jurisdiction over the company.

In asserting the claims, the plaintiffs said that Harold Pennington, an Oregon resident, was injured as a result of using the benzene-containing Liquid Wrench product during the course …
