Pa. Court Grants CRC Industries’ Motion to Compel in Benzene Case; Requests Further Briefing on Remand Motion

PHILADELPHIA –– A Pennsylvania federal court has issued an order outlining the parameters for production in a benzene case, granting motions to compel from defendant CRC Industries Inc.

In the June 7 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania additionally allowed the defendants to file supplemental memoranda in support of their responses to the plaintiffs’ second efforts to remand the case.

The plaintiffs can respond to the supplemental memoranda –– due June 30 –– by July 10, the court said.
