C-8 MDL Judge Appoints Claims Administrator and Special Master in Wake of Global Settlement

CINCINNATI –– The federal judge overseeing the multidistrict litigation docket relating to C-8 water contamination personal injury claims has appointed a claims administrator and special master to oversee the master settlement agreement, expected to total more than $920 million.

In its Case Management Order No. 22, issued April 12 by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio appointed Daniel J. Balhoff of Perry, Balhoff, Mengis & Burns LLC to the position of the Master Settlement Agreement Administrator and Hon. Daniel J. Stack of the Master Settlement Agreement Special Master.
