Ill. Court Allows URS to Redact Portions of Contracts Entered into With Shell Oil

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. –– A defendant in a benzene contamination suit may redact portions of an engagement contract it entered into with Shell Oil, an Illinois federal court recently ruled.

In the Feb. 24 order, Magistrate Judge Philip M. Frazier of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois noted after an in camera review that URS Corp. will be permitted to redact five portions of the contracts.
