Benzene Plaintiff Moves to Amend Complaint, Wants to Add Details on Work History, Medical Condition

BOSTON –– A former automotive mechanic has asked the court for permission to amend his benzene lawsuit, stating that he seeks to clarify additional details of his work history and provide more information on his work condition “to reflect the full disease process which is the subject of this lawsuit.”

In the March 6 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the plaintiffs also noted that he wishes to remove CRC Industries Inc. as a party in the lawsuit to reflect a recent motion to dismiss the defendant with prejudice.
