Parties in Benzene-Related Insurance Dispute Ask Court to Revise Final Judgment so It Can Be Appealed

MINNEAPOLIS –– Parties involved in an insurance coverage action related to underlying benzene claims have asked the court to revise a recent final judgment order, explaining that the order as it currently stands will not allow them to appeal the decision.

In a Feb. 17 letter to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, Valspar wrote that the final judgment must include language that there is “no just reason for delay,” in order for the decision to be final and appealable.
