COLUMBIA, S.C. –– Benzene defendant Winzer Corp. has moved for summary judgment in a pending South Carolina action, maintaining that the plaintiffs have failed to present evidence that the decedent had more than a causal or minimum exposure to the defendant’s products prior to his death.
In the June 25 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, Winzer contended that during the decedent’s employment, Winzer sold one case of carburetor cleaner to his employer.
