Hearing Scheduled to Address Settlement Agreement Reached in Missouri Benzene Case

ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri federal court has set a March 26 hearing to address a motion for approval of a settlement agreement reached between a benzene plaintiff and several remaining defendants, including Sherwin Williams, Chevron and Shell Chemical.

In a March 4 order setting a hearing, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri asked the plaintiffs to file a copy of the settlement agreement at least three days prior to the hearing.
