Parties in Louisiana Benzene Case Prepare for Feb. 10 Trial; File Pretrial Brief

NEW ORLEANS –– Parties in a benzene case pending in Louisiana are preparing for a February trial and will conduct a final pretrial conference on Jan. 29, according to a recent court document.

According to a proposed pretrial brief, trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and is expected to last seven days.

The brief also notes that defense counsel in the case objects to the trial lasting more than five days, as they have another trial scheduled to begin the following week.
