1st Circuit Issues Briefing Notice in Benzene Plaintiffs’ Appeal of Dismissal

BOSTON –– The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit has issued a briefing schedule for an appeal in which the plaintiffs have asked the court to review a decision that rejected the “linear no-threshold” analysis proffered in support of specific causation.

According to the Nov. 25 briefing schedule, the 1st Circuit is requiring the plaintiffs to submit their appellate brief by Jan. 6.
