Steco Backs Motion to Dismiss Benzene Complaint, Says Plaintiffs Have Failed to Identify Any of Defendant’s Products

ST. LOUIS –– A benzene defendant has backed its motion to dismiss a Missouri complaint, arguing that the plaintiffs still have yet to identify any of Steco’s products in their lawsuit.

In a Sept. 27 reply brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Steco maintains that the plaintiffs’ complaint sets a 57-year time frame without specific details.

“Plaintiffs’ current Complaint does not specify what product Steco is responsible for, what Steco allegedly did wrong and/or how their products and/or actions injured Decedent and Plaintiffs,” the defendant argues. “The current Complaint also does not …
