PHILADELPHIA –– Valero Energy Corp. (NYSE:VLO) has asked a Pennsylvania court to reconsider its decision to deny the defendant’s preliminary objections to a benzene complaint, saying that because it was denied the opportunity to argue its motion before the court, it was unable to demonstrate how the plaintiff’s evidence was “misleading.”

In the March 8 motion filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, Valero argues that the trial court does not have personal jurisdiction over the defendant.
