Mass. Court to Hear Summary Judgment Motion with Lone Remaining Defendant in February




BOSTON –– The court overseeing a Massachusetts benzene case in which Rust-Oleum Corp. stands as the lone remaining defendant will hear the company's summary judgment motion in February.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts will now hear arguments relating to the motion February 6 at 2:30 p.m., according to an electronic notice issued through the court’s online docket.

Plaintiffs in the case have filed an opposition to a motion challenging specific causation, arguing that the opinions of the expert defendant Rust-Oleum challenges are based on “well-accepted computer modeling technique[s].”
