11th Circuit Affirms Dismissal of Camp Lejeune Lawsuit

ATLANTA -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has upheld the dismissal of a Camp Lejeune lawsuit after finding that the plaintiffs' failure to disclose bankruptcy proceedings justified the lower court's finding that the lawsuit was judicially estopped. Jones v. United States of America, No. 11-13158 (11th Cir.).

In the March 14 opinion, the appellate court further found that the plaintiff lacked standing to challenge a ruling denying the substitution of a trustee as a plaintiff in the suit.
