NEW ORLEANS -- The Dow Chemical Co. has offered additional support for its motion to transfer venue in a benzene case, contending once again that "the balance of convenience and justice favors" transfer to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Ventress, et al. v. Radiator Specialty Co., et al., No. 11-1419 (E.D. La.).

In a reply brief filed Nov. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the defendant maintains its position and argues that the plaintiffs' attempts to stop a transfer "attach an inordinate weight to the plaintiff's choice of venue."
