NEW ORLEANS -- Parties in a Louisiana benzene case have established a trial date and are moving forward with discovery, according to a recent document filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Moore, et al. v. ExxonMobil Corp., et al., No. 11-00747 (E.D. La.).

The federal court also recently granted two separate joint motions to dismiss Bridgestone and Shell Oil from the action that involves the benzene claims of a former police officer.
