BEAUMONT, Texas - According to recent court documents, a defendant involved in a benzene case that ended in a bench trial award of more than $3.4 million has paid the plaintiff and satisfied the judgment entered by the court three years ago. Clark, et al. v. Kellogg Brown & Root, LLC, et al., No. 2:07-CV-191 (E.D. Texas).

The July 13 release filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas states that defendant Kellogg Brown & Root has paid the plaintiffs $3,486,000.57 under orders imposed by the federal court and upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals …
