New Benzene Complaint Names More than 15 Vehicle Maintenance Products

NEW ORLEANS -- A new complaint has been filed in Louisiana federal district court, alleging that exposure to benzene occurred while the plaintiff completed maintenance work on vehicles. Moore, et al. v. ExxonMobil Corp., et al., No. 11-00747 (E.D. La.).
In the April 7 lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the plaintiffs claim that Donald Moore Sr. developed multiple myeloma as a result of exposure to more than 15 benzene-containing products.
