NEW ORLEANS -- Parties in a benzene case that involved a recent court order precluding expert testimony have reached a compromise, according to a recent court order. Bunch, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 10-01226 (E.D. La.).

According to a Dec. 23 order of dismissal filed by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the "parties to this action have firmly agreed upon a compromise and have assured that they need only to execute releases and agreements."
