LOS ANGELES -- A California court has awarded summary judgment to three defendants in a brain cancer case, finding that an expert testifying on behalf of the plaintiffs did not provide a sufficient basis for his challenge to a 1989 IARC study. Canino, et al. v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. NC038086 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
