NEW ORLEANS -- A federal judge presiding over a benzene case said he will consider disclosure issues at a November hearing, according to a recently filed notice. Washington, et al. v. Baker Petrolite Corp., et al., No. 09-7926 (E.D. La.).
The notice entered on Oct. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana says that a preliminary telephone conference will be held on Nov. 9, "for the purpose of scheduling a pre-trial conference and trial on the merits and for a discussion of the status and discovery cut-off dates."
