NEW ORLEANS -- Plaintiffs in a Louisiana benzene case involving the exposures of three individuals have filed motions seeking the exclusion of a number of defense expert opinions, claiming that they are not accepted by the scientific community. C_ole, et al. v. Ashland Chemical Inc., et al._, No. 09-6584 (E.D. La.).
On Aug. 11 and 12, the plaintiffs filed several motions in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana seeking the exclusion of testimony from the defendants' epidemiologist, toxicologist, oncologist and industrial hygienist.
