New CLL Complaint Names Shell, Says Company Failed to Warn its Employees

NEW ORLEANS -- A benzene complaint has been filed on behalf of a former Shell employee, alleging that the company knew of potential dangers associated with benzene prior to 1960 and failed to warn its workers. Bunch, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 10-01226 (E.D. La.).

The plaintiffs claim in the April 28 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana that benzene health hazards have been recognized for more than 100 years.
