BEAUMONT, Texas -- Responding to an unopposed motion filed by a defendant in a benzene action, a Texas federal court has pushed back the date by which mediation of the action must take place. Smith, et al. v. E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Co., et al., No. 08-00385 (E.D. Texas).

E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. filed the unopposed motion on July 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
