Wis. Jury Allocates No Liability to Supplier in Meso Case

MILWAUKEE -- A Wisconsin jury has found in favor of a supply company, awarding $125,000 in the undisputed mesothelioma case but assessing 0 percent liability to the lone remaining defendant in the case. Gosz v. American Standard, et al., No. 05-cv-9218 (Wis. Cir. Ct., Milwaukee Cty.).

The jury reached the verdict unanimously after an eight-day trial in the Wisconsin Circuit Court for Milwaukee County, sources told HarrisMartin.

Helen Gosz asserted the claims on behalf of Clarence Gosz, who she claims was exposed to asbestos-containing products supplied by Building Service Industrial Sales Co. at a variety of job sites throughout Wisconsin.
