Judge Wolin: Provisional Transfer Orders Affect Only Moving Friction Defendants




WILMINGTON, Del. - Judge Alfred M. Wolin, the judge assigned to oversee the consolidated bankruptcy proceedings of five asbestos defendants has file another order clarifying the provisional transfer of friction product claims that have been removed to federal court. In Re: Federal-Mogul Global, Inc., et al., No. 01-10578, et al. (D. Del. Bankr.).

The order, issued Jan. 3, governs all provisional transfer orders whether they have already been issued by the court or may be issued in the future, Judge Wolin said.
