BATON ROUGE, La. - A class of plaintiffs who sought medical monitoring for alleged asbestos injuries, but have not yet shown any sign of injury or disease, has had their claim reinstated after a Louisiana appeals court reversed a trial court decision that had thrown the case out on a statutory exclusion. Edwards, et al. v. The State of Louisiana, et al., No. 2000 CA 2420 (La. Ct. App., 1st Cir.).
