WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A class action has been filed against the owners of a Florida-based casino cruise ship, claiming that anyone who was aboard the vessel while it was undergoing renovations in the late 1990s might have been exposed to dangerous levels of asbestos and are in need of medical monitoring. Pavic v. LEO Equity Group, Inc., No. 01-12686 (Fla. Cir. Ct., Palm Beach Cty.).
