N.J. Jurors Award $30.3 Million at Conclusion of Meso Trial




HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A jury has reached what is believed to be the highest asbestos verdict ever in New Jersey, awarding $30.3 million to the surviving family members of a former automotive worker. Buttitta, et al. v. Asbestos Corp. Limited, et al., No. BER-L-9592-02 (N.J. Super. Ct., Bergen Cty.).

The New Jersey Superior Court for Bergen County jury reached the $30,312,204 verdict Feb. 25 after a trial that started Feb. 4 in front of Judge Brian Martinotti.
