Breach of Contract Suit over Consultation in Asbestos Case Improperly Pled, Court Says

NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana attorney who intervened in an asbestos personal injury claim to receive payment for his work on the case has had his lawsuit thrown out because he failed to allege a judiciable cause against any of the correct parties. Scott, et al. v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Co, et al., No. 2001-C-1693 (La. Ct. App., Fourth Cir.).
