MOUNT VERNON, Ill. - A former carpenter who claims he suffers from mesothelioma as a result of his exposure to asbestos can have his case tried in an Illinois County District Court, even though he allegedly has no apparent ties to the venue, a state appeals court has ruled. Dykstra v. A.P. Green Industries, Inc., et al., No. 00-L-1235 (Ill. App. Ct., Fifth Dist.).
