LOS ANGELES -- An appellate court has reversed a trial court ruling dismissing an asbestos lawsuit on forum non conveniens grounds, saying that the lower court should have stayed the action until it could determine whether Tennessee could have asserted jurisdiction over all the defendants in the California action. Slaughter, et al. v. Union Carbide Corp., et al., No. B196995 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist., Div. 7).
