AUSTIN, Texas -- Plaintiffs who were recently denied attempts to reinstate an $850,000 asbestos verdict have filed a motion for rehearing in the Texas Supreme Court. Bailey, et al. v. Mobil Oil Corp., et al., No. 06-0444 (Texas Sup. Ct.).

According to the high court's docket, the plaintiffs filed the motion for rehearing on Nov. 16. The original petition asserted by Pearlie Bailey, James Thibodeaux, Kevin Paul and Carolyn Bailey was denied by the Supreme Court on Oct. 27.
