Jury Finds for Garlock in Asbestosis Trial

SEATTLE -- A jury has found for Garlock Sealing Technologies after a trial in which the defendant claimed that its gaskets did not produce a sufficient amount of asbestos to cause the plaintiff's injuries. Allen v. Garlock Sealing Technologies, et al., No. 04-2-15394-8 SEA (Wash. Super. Ct., King Cty.).
The Washington Superior Court for King County jury reached the verdict Dec. 22 after a two-week trial. Judge Douglass North oversaw the trial.
