U.S. Senator Threatens to Pull Support of S. 852

WASHINGTON -- Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) has threatened to pull his support of S. 852 if provisions protecting people in Libby, Mont,. are removed.
In a Dec. 13 press release, Baucus said: 'I'll yank my support from the asbestos bill in a New York minute if the Libby Fix gets pulled. I'll not only pull my support for the bill, but I'll actively fight to sink it altogether.'
