TIG Insurance Co. Files Declaratory Action Over Coverage for Eagle's Asbestos Claims

NEW ORLEANS - TIG Insurance Co. has filed a declaratory action claiming it has no duty to defend or indemnify Eagle Inc. against underlying asbestos claims. TIG Insurance v. Eagle Inc., et al., No. 05-0179 (E.D. La.).

The insurance company also claimed in the Jan. 21 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana that another insurance company, Gray Insurance, was obligated to pay under an aggregate reimbursement policy issued to the asbestos defendant.
