SAN FRANCISCO - A California Court of Appeal has upheld an award of summary judgment to a defendant that insisted it produced asbestos-containing wire only for a short time in the 1980s and that the plaintiff failed to sufficiently show that his asbestos-related illness was caused by exposure to the product. Trinchese v. Pirelli Power Cables and Systems USA, LLC, No. A100174 (Calif. Ct. App., First Dist.).
