Prospects for Asbestos Legislation: A Work in Progress by Deborah Addis and James Reed

photo-1Deborah Addis, president of Addis & Reed Consulting, Inc., a public affairs firm based in Boston, has nearly twenty years of experience with the asbestos issue. She has testified before the House Judiciary Committee on behalf of the Asbestos Victims Campaign, a grassroots advocacy group.

James Reed, chairman, has testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on asbestos legislation. His article 'Federal Asbestos Legislation: The Search for a Strategy' appeared in the April 2001 issue of HarrisMartin's Columns-Asbestos.
