J&J Reaches $100 Million Settlement of Asbestos Talc Cases with Several Firms




HADDONFIELD, N.J. –– Johnson & Johnson has reached a $100 million settlement to resolve approximately 1,000 talcum powder personal injury lawsuits involving asbestos exposure, HarrisMartin Publishing has confirmed.

The settlement details were first published in an Oct. 5 Bloomberg report, in which a spokesperson for the defendant stated that the company does choose to settle lawsuits in certain circumstances but is done “without an admission of liability and in no way changes our position regarding the safety of our products.”
