Judges Step in to Enforce Latest Installment of $120 Million Asbestos Settlement

CLEVELAND - Two judges in Cleveland have ended the most recent phase of what has become an epic battle to secure more than $120 million in asbestos settlements from members of the Center for Claims Resolution (CCR). In Re: All Kelley & Ferraro Asbestos Cases, No. 1:00cv20010 (N.D. Ohio).
According to the firm representing plaintiffs in the settlement, the judges recently refused attempts by the CCR to stop them from obtaining a $9.75 million judgment against CCR member companies Dana Corp., Pfizer Inc., Quigley Co., Union Carbide and Amchem Products, Inc.
