Calif. Court Awards Summary Judgment to Crown, Cork & Seal, Hopeman Brothers in Asbestos Case

LOS ANGELES –– A California federal court has awarded summary judgment to Crown, Cork & Seal and Hopeman Brothers in an asbestos case, noting that that the plaintiffs had filed notices of non-opposition to the defense efforts.

In separate orders entered Sept. 8 by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California said that the defendants had met their burden of proving that the plaintiffs could not establish exposure.
