Missouri Federal Court Remands Asbestos-Related Lung Cancer Suit

ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri federal court has remanded an asbestos-related lung cancer suit, finding that since the claims against the removing defendant had been voluntarily dismissed, it no longer had jurisdiction over the matter.

In the Feb. 24 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri noted that none of the remaining defendants in the action had opposed the plaintiffs’ motion to remand.
