SHREVEPORT, La. –– A Louisiana magistrate judge has weighed in on a dispute as to whether supplemental expert reports were Rule 26-compliant, ultimately allowing the asbestos plaintiffs extra time to file reports for two of their experts.

In the Jan. 6 order, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana did grant a defense motion to strike the expert report of Dr. Arnold Brody, after finding that the plaintiffs neither filed an initial expert report nor a supplemental one with regards to his testimony.
