NEW YORK –– Plaintiffs involved in New York City’s coordinated asbestos docket have filed a reply brief supporting their original request to end the deferral on punitive damages, saying that defense opposition is “overblown.”

In the Nov. 7 reply brief filed in the New York Supreme Court for New York County, the plaintiffs reiterated their position that plaintiffs in New York should not be denied the opportunity to seek punitive damages.
